Welcome to Miss Gibbons' Kindergarten Classroom for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
The first week of Kindergarten was full of excitment. We spent lots of time learning about how our classroom works, meeting new friends, as well as playing and learning.

worked together,
explored math materials,
explored science materials,
practiced our writing skills,
read books,
and most importantly, used our imaginations!
The second week of Kindergarten is off to a great start. This week we will be learning about letters and writing during our literacy workstation time, work with numbers in math centers, explore colors and shapes and continue the Name Game!
I am looking forward to documenting our Kindergarten journey together in words and pictures each week.
